Balance training can be done on the ground while walking. Benefits:

  • no risk at all since there isn’t actually any height
  • you lose no time, you continue to walk
  • you can do it while carrying objects, groceries, backpacks or even a baby carrier
  • even if you’re very advanced, you benefit from this: pick up the pace and focus on contracting your core, and you’ll notice this will actually contribute to your training
